“Our trip to Pybus Point was exceptional. The accommodations were comfortable and inviting, the people interesting and the fishing superb. I went out one day to watch the eagles as they came in to feed. They come in along the shore just a short distance from the cabins and I was able to get some amazing photos.” –Robert K.

“We chose Pybus Point Lodge as a trip to make celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary a special and memorable experience. The only way we can describe our trip is “perfect”. This was a first experience for both of us to fly in a sea plane and the first time I have done this type of fishing. During the time we were there the scenery was spectacular, weather perfect, accommodations and food wonderful and the fishing tremendous! We are grateful to have been able to make this trip and for the Pybus Point staff who made it extra special and for strangers who are now friends.” –Scott & Marianne R.

Relax in Common Areas

Spend your evenings reliving the day’s adventures with friends in the common areas, with available billiard table, table tennis, comfortable couches, kitchenettes to keep your drinks cold, and flat-screen TVs with movie library.

“The entire staff, all worked together to make our stay one of the best that I have ever experienced anywhere. We enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners, served family style in the lodge, as well as sharing tales of the day’s adventures with the other guests and staff. When dinner was finished, we spent our evenings visiting with the other guests, and staff, around the fire pit.

The family atmosphere, remote location, rugged beauty, fantastic weather, and world class fishing made this the trip of a lifetime for my son and I.” –Doug Y.

Small Group Cabins

For groups of four to six who don’t want shared beds, our newly-renovated small group cabins are the perfect place to call home. Each cabin has four or six twin beds, a thermostat-controlled fireplace, and its own bathroom. (Our 6-bed group cabin has 2 private bathrooms.) Availability is limited to groups of three or more.

Large Groups

Pybus Point Lodge is the ideal setting for groups of 12 to 40 guests as part of a corporate event, family reunion, or wedding. Each of our new standard cabins can accommodate 8-9 guests in beds, with additional room for cots. Sleeping arrangements are a small part of the all-inclusive experience, with dedicated space on float planes, boats, guides, kayaks, and food, so additional guests do pay normal all-inclusive rates. Group rates are available, but cabins typically need to be reserved a full year in advance to keep your group together.

“The ultimate family vacation! Something for everyone to see including whales, eagles, and bears. Dolphins surrounded our boat on each trip out. Novice to expert fishermen will enjoy trolling, jigging, casting and fly fishing. Comfortable, friendly environment includes brand new and upgraded cabins, kayaking, hot tubing, and excellent food in the family style lodge.” –George P.

“If you want to enjoy the Alaskan wilderness, yet sleep in comfortable cabins, eat better than you should, and catch an abundance of some of the freshest and tastiest fish in the world, I can think of no better place than Pybus Point Lodge. I loved my vacation here. The staff was wonderful and our captain was great at both getting us on the bite and helping us achieve our fishing goals. I can’t think of a single reason to go anywhere else.”
