Beyond those formal qualifications, though, they are also just passionate about Alaska and all the adventure it can provide. Whether you prefer to spend your days on the water fishing, or you are looking to explore the local waterfalls, fjords, glaciers and wildlife spotting our guides are here to help.
Pybus Point Lodge is located on the southern end of Admiralty Island which is a National Monument that is part of Tongass National Forest. Also known as the “Fortress of the Bears,” the island has the highest density of brown bears in North America so hiking alone near the lodge isn’t recommended. However, our guides can take you anywhere you want to go by water to see some of the best scenery, wildlife, glaciers, and more.
Discover why people like you can’t stop talking about Pybus Point Lodge. More than 30 years ago, the lodge opened as a simple fishing camp, drawing a devoted following in spite of basic accommodations.
