With close to 17 million acres of land, Tongass National Forest is the largest national forest in America, and home to some of the most beautiful towering mountains, lush fjords, and 15,000 miles of rivers and streams. Much of the national forest remains intact and undeveloped, making it an ideal place to see (and photograph) some of the most amazing wildlife in its natural habitat, including a wide variety of birds, bears, mountain goats,deer, and more.
