Let’s get right to the details of the different types of cabin we have available for our future guests. At the lodge we have two great options to choose from depending on your group size and needs:
The first options is our newly built luxury cabins. These cabins were built to act like a mini-hotel, meaning you will have your own private room, separate from other guests. There are 4 of these cabins within walking distance to our main lodge and dock.
In each deluxe cabin, there are 4 private rooms (like a hotel room) with a private bathroom and a thermostat controlled fireplace to keep your room the exact temperature you prefer. The rooms in these cabins have either a king sized bed, two twins or two fulls. Just let us know more about your group and we can find the best room to fit your needs.
So, if you have a group of 2 people, you will have a nice private room with some neighbors across the hall, just like as if you were staying a hotel. There's no need to worry about sharing a bathroom with people you don't know or anything weird like that.
If your group has 4 or more people, and you book early, you can have your friends across the hall or in the same cabin so you can enjoy evening activities with each other. Or if your friends or family is in another cabin, don’t worry, the lodge property has a small footprint and you are never too far away from each other to have fun.
We also offer options to reserve a full cabin for your group depending on the date and availability, so make sure to book early to get the layout that works best for your group!
Our luxury cabins also feature a common area that you can spend your evenings reliving the day’s adventures with friends that includes games and puzzles, comfortable couches, a large TV and movie library. Our new cabins even have access to a kitchen, although most of our guests only use it to keep drinks cold, since our world-class chef stands ready to provide each guest with a gourmet dining experience for every meal!
These rooms also have a variety of unique views from breath taking ocean views with private balconies to rooms with large windows and views of our nearby Alaska rain forest.
The other option is our newly renovated studio-apartment-style cabins. These group cabins have a single room layout with 1-4 beds. They include a thermostat controlled fireplace, mini fridge, as well as a sitting area with TV and table that is perfect for playing your favorite games or putting together a puzzle.
They also offer a private bathroom with tankless water heater so you will never run out of hot water if you are the last one to shower.
We have two of these group cabins that are conveniently located near our hot tubs, and they are a perfect for families or friends who don’t mind the cozy atmosphere. So which one should you choose for your vacation?
Our advice is to not stress about rooms and layouts. Whether your Alaskan vacation includes you and your fishing buddies, your spouse and kids, or just a romantic getaway to get married, spend your honeymoon, or celebrate an anniversary as a couple, you can find comfortable rooms along with all the amenities you expect from a world-class resort
Also something worth mentioning is that all our rooms and cabins at Pybus Point Lodge are designed and priced for double occupancy, which means two people staying in each room.
